At the starting of the class, the maam explained the rules.Then, we were divided into groups of 5 & 6 members. Then, we were given with situation question and we should find the solutions for it.My group’s situation question was “WHY CAN’T YOU MAKE UNDERWEAR OUT OF GLASS?”We got the following solutions: 1) It will harm the user by cutting him/her. 2) It will be very uncomfortable. 3) It will break easily. 4) Will look odd underclothes. 5) Not machine – washable, etc..Then, we were thought about forms and different characteristics of different natural & man-made materials.We were told to collect 10 natural materials & 10 man-made materials.We were also told to make a table where we have to make a chart and mark the characteristics of materials collected.Then, after that we went to workshop and were introduced to tools & machines that we will be working with later on.ANANYA GOLCHA, FY-G, FACULTY NAME: SUPRIYA THAKKAR.WEEK – 1
